It’s tempting alright. After the last 3 years of getting to know Jesus’ unimaginable love, mercy, grace and provision through the Bible and my life circumstances…I found myself psyching myself up to make “big” plans for the future all day yesterday.
Then, as I was winding down for the day that night, the Lord gently reminded me through Jeremiah Chapter 10, and in particular the below:
“I know, Lord , that a man’s way of life is not his own; no one who walks determines his own steps.”
- Jeremiah 10:23
So thankful for His reminder. My life is in His hands and I will commit my ways to Him and seek Him more. ✝️
P.S. It’s ok to have plans and dreams, I encourage it – but from a biblical perspective and personal experience, I’ve learned to submit my plans to the Lord and let him pave the way. What are your thoughts and perspectives on this? Do share in the comments below.
